Wow, I have not seen Andrina make a face like this before! She's becoming a real little person!

Little Baby Chickies

When I go to the Museum of Science and Industry, which is very rare, I have to go see the baby chickies and the egg hatchery. Ok, yes, I am a push-over for cute little animals. Well, now that I have a baby, I had to make sure that Andrina got to see the baby chickies too when we went to the museum today. So here she is, by the baby chickies. I think she actually saw them, but I guess I'll never really know for sure.

Tom and I originally went to the museum to see the CSI exhibit before it closed down on Labor Day (which is next week). We did get to see the exhibit but we could not really take it all in due to the crowds of people constantly in the way and blocking parts of it. It was also quite a drive out there, but all and all it was an enjoyable day and Andrina tolerated the whole trip very well. In fact, she seemed to sleep the entire time. It was amazing that she was actually awake long enough to "see" the baby chickies. It's difficult to imagine that in a few short years she'll really be able to enjoy them.

Welcome Ryan!

Rebecca called, her little baby boy Ryan was born last night! Yeah! He's 7 lbs, 7 ozs and 20 and 1/2 inches long. Congrats Becca and Eric! I can't wait to meet your little baby!

Cooing!

Andrina vocalized her first coos today! 5 weeks old and she cooing! Way to go Baby!

Meet Aunt Theresa and Cousin Eileen

Tom's Aunt Theresa and his cousin Eileen came for a visit and to meet Andrina. Andrina is named after Tom's mom-Theresa's sister. Here's a sweet picture of Theresa holding her sister's namesake.

1 Month Well-Baby Visit

On the 14th, Andrina had her 1 Month Well-Baby Pediatrician visit. She has grown so much over her first month! She was 7 lbs 11 ozs and 20 and 1/8 inches long! I knew she was getting longer and heavier. So much growth and development in only one month. I look forward to her growing and developing with excitment and sadness. How I know I will miss her babyhood someday...

Another Outing with Cousin Anne

Today Andrina got to see her cousin Anne and Auntie April again. Andrina was more awake than she was at their last visit and Anne actually really noticed her little cousin this time! And we even got some pictures of the 4 of us. Here's one below:

1st Tub Bath

I've been postponing giving Andrina a bath in the bath tub. Up until today she has been getting sponge baths. I've been waiting for Tom and I to give her a bath together but he has not been available. So I broke down and gave her her first tub bath by myself. I wanted to share the few minutes of video that I have but I could not get it to upload. So here's a picture instead. She did not enjoy her first tub bath.

Meet Cousin Anne

Here's my baby Andrina with my sister April's baby Anne! They are 14 months apart in age and both so cute! They didn't get to do much "meeting" as Andrina slept almost the entire time and Anne was more interested in her cousin's toys than in her cousin! Maybe next time...
