Anne's 3rd Birthday Party
Here's some pictures from Anne's latest birthday party. All of the kids had a blast! It was hard to keep track of everyone with them having such a huge area to have free range it but I was able to get a few pictures.

Butterfly House
I recently learned that there is a small butterfly house not very far from our home. I took Andrina there and it seems that she liked it. She would intently watch the butterflies for a little bit, pointing at them and saying "flies" then walk around. At times a butterfly would fly close to her face and it startled her a bit but she was ok that I was there with her. She also seemed to understand me telling her that the butterflies can't hurt her and that they are so small we can't touch them because it would hurt them. Overall, it was an enjoyable small outing that we'll need to do again a few more times this year.

Toddlers Really Do Turn...
...into babies again when they are tired!
Andrina was really tired and cranky tonight. We were getting her ready for her bath like we do every night and she was naked, ready for her bath when she demanded her milk. Her bottle with milk in it was on her dresser, like it is every night and she refused to go into the bathroom for her bath so I just got her bottle and scooped her up, naked and all, and let her have it before her bath. Andrina was happy to drink about half of it and then she cooperated with the rest of her night time routine. Thankfully, her private body parts are covered up by me in this picture so the sweetness and innocence of it is conveyed without someone thinking it may be inappropriate. Which it's not.

Easter Ham
I recieved my $20 rebate check from the Easter ham today. When I purchased it, it was a little over $20 (like $20.39 I think). I had $15 worth of store coupons going towards it from Jewel at the time when I bought it. And now with the $20 rebate check, I ended up getting a FREE ham AND $15 too! So cool!

Sesame Street Live
Andrina went to her first live show yesterday. It was Sesame Street's When Elmo Grows Up. Andrina and I went with her Godmomma Becca and Ryan. The kids loved it! Andrina absolutely LOVED it! I told her before we left that we were going to see an "Elmo show" and she kept saying "Elmo show" on the way there. While watching the show, Andrina was clapping and yelling "yay" during it! On two seperate times during the show, Andrina ran up the aisles to the stage! I was chasing after her and holding on to her to keep her from getting up any further! She really, really wanted to go see all the Sesame Street friends up on stage! She did get to meet The Count, a Honker, and Zoe. I don't have any pictures of her with the characters as they come into the audience during the show and it's very quick, like they are by a child for a second before they move on. We tried to get up to the stage to see Elmo, Bert, and Ernie at the end of the show but there were too many people and could not get through. Oh well, at least Andrina and Ryan enjoyed the show. Andrina loved it so much that I am conviced that I have to take her on a "Sesame Street" vacation this summer to Penn. & NY to Sesame Place and the Strong Children's Museum which is supposed to have an amazing Sesame Street interactive exhibit. Here's the pictures from the show:
Andrina with the program before the show
We didn't get home until after 10pm that night. Needless to say, Andrina was exhausted and fell right to sleep. I was exhausted too from all the excitement and chasing after her!

Go Fly A Kite
This morning I flew the kite with Andrina that I bought for her. She really enjoyed it and after dinner, Tom flew it for her. Here's some pics:
Can you tell I had Andrina in mind when I made the selection?

Counting My Toes...Sort Of...
Andrina has been "counting" lately. For a while she was saying, "2, 3, 4" but not 1. Now she's saying, "2, 4, 6" all while pointing at objects and going from one to the other. She won't say "1" but that's ok, it's still adorable and she's not even two years old yet! Here's pictures from today, counting her toes while getting dressed:
