1st Pee-Pee in Potty?

Andrina has been sitting on the potty, sporatically, for a few months now. This morning she said she wanted to go to the potty so I held her on the regular toilet (we were upstairs and the potty chair was downstairs). I thought I heard a few drops but looking in the toilet afterwards, it was impossible to tell and Andrina would not let me wipe her with toilet paper so I'm not sure if she actually peed in it or not. Oh well...

A Great Start to 2010

While in the shower, I hear Tom and Andrina come into the bedroom and bathroom. Tom tells Andrina that I'm taking a shower and she runs towards it, excidely yelling, "Mamma, Mamma, Mamma"! Awww, such a sweetness to behold, my child wanting to be with her Mamma after her nap! So we talked about how adults take a bath in the shower and that we'd play when I was done. It is so nice to know, again, how much my baby loves me!

2009 Christmas Portrait

I have to brag some more. Today while walking down the stairs, Andrina counted the steps up to 16! My little girl is so smart! She can count that high, recognizes most numerals, knows the alphabet song, colors, and shapes, and she's not even 2 and 1/2 yet! So amazing! I am so proud...

Decorating the 2009 Christmas Tree

As I've been thinking about Christmas, my thoughts automatically go to my daughter and how now she should be old enough to understand the holiday and enjoy it. Well, she does! She loves talking about and looking at Christmas lights and here's a photo of Andrina helping decorate the tree:
